Happy Holidays and good cheer from Bad Karma! Black Ice, Bad Santa’s and exploding Xmas trees to all! Bad Karma is back and in good form, with new member and killer drummer Scott Card.
Scott brings a great vibe to the band, along with his awesome drumming! Scottie is a laugh-riot and quite a character, we are so happy to have crossed path’s with Mr. Card. We are just hitting the tip of the iceberg with Scott and we can promise in the months to come good stuff will be forth coming, be It new tunes reworking of old stuff, originals, attitudes and stage craft! In the Bad Karma deck of Cards, Scott is the Joker, Johnny is the Bishop and David is the Queen!
A few new gigs upcoming, we hope to see you out supporting us and getting to know Scott! We welcome all of Scott’s old friends as well, in hopes of Bad Karma turning on new faces! Sat. Dec. 13th / Live at The City Sports Grill . 9.30 pm , this should be a great show. John and David have played there with Mike and the Monsters and had a blast. Spiked eggnog for all. Scott will be taking all comers on the ice between sets with an impressive hockey goal tending exhibition of defense and sheer courage while blind folded and anticipating the puck in a zen-like / "feel the force " type of program. The south side of the venues parking lot will house a faux ice rink specifically designed by Scotty and facilitated and sanctioned by the Clifton Park winter sports committee , please note this event will be between the second and third set this Sat. John Dodge will continue in his annual reading of " T’was the night before Christmas", after the first set. As usual John will perform this in character of an influential man of the 20th century, this year Richard Nixon, John’s presentation will be aided by the Cohoe's life-size puppet society with a cast of over 100 puppets from across the nation. Not to be missed. David will showcase in the grand hallway of the bowling alley, his most recent animal sculptors. He had been commissioned to create by the Bronx Zoo. Featuring a South American Wombat, A Brazilian , corn-fed, humpback reptile and a South Troy two legged house cat.Overall a night of holiday magic. All this and Bad Karma music!
Dec. 27 th / Sat. Night, The Tug Boat in Cohoe's, NY. Thrills, chills and spills, for an after Christmas, pre New Years sugar high. All the hits, all the visuals, all the energy that have made Bad Karma a household name. To celebrate the impending New Year of 2009, David ,John and Scott will be performing each in baby New year regalia ( Diaper and sash) thought-out the entire night! loads of fun and mischief for all! We need to see you there and having fun! A night not to miss.
Thanks for stopping by the site, we hope to see you out, having a blast and welcoming Scott Card to the fold. Remember, BUY THE TICKET, TAKE THE RIDE!

BAD KARMA is Pleased to announce that Scott Card is our new drummer. Scott is a local area survivor and will be a great addition to the Bad Karma mix. Scott's experience with his former band, Ten Year Vamp is exactly what we've been looking for. Scott will also be adding a new vocal dimension to the mix, and will be taking on some lead vocals on some songs….
Stay tuned… the best is yet to come……

Just to let everyone know that BAD KARMA is alive and doing well even if we aren't playing out as much as we have been in the past. We have some MAJOR changes coming up this month, so be sure to stay in touch... Is that a teaser or what??
Truth is after over 4 years with the band we are sad to announce that our very own Mike Craig has decided to step down from the drumming duties for Bad Karma. I know its a shock! But Mike has made it clear to us that he just doesn't feel like playing the drums any more. Also he is taking on some additional duties in his Masonic Lodge (Imperial Grand Wizard or something like that) LOL ! ;) . We totally respect Mike's decision, and wish him the very best. He is and will always be a member of Bad Karma, and has brought many things to the band over the past 4+ years.... bringing FUN back to the band was a major part of it.
MIKE WE'LL MISS YA - BROTHER ! ! ! ! !
Stay Tuned to the website and Myspace for more updates.
Don't forget we will be at Jan's Roadhouse on Sept. 20th - Rt. 50 in Glenville/Burnt Hills area. This is where Mike Craig will say his goodbye.
We are currently looking for a new drummer, and will be holding auditions soon. If interested please contact Dave or John to set up a date and time. (Phone numbers are to the left)
ROCK ON ! ! !

Double Header - What a weekend ! ! ! !
Bad Karma was out rockin' Capital Land this past weekend with a outstanding double-header of shows. Friday we took on Albany for a early-bird special at Lynn's Uptown Tavern on Colvin Avenue. We hit the stage at 6pm and showed Albany what a real rock band is all about. It was a great time for all. We look forward to more shows at Lynn's, so stay tuned......
Saturday we shot out to Mechanicsville for a awesome show at The Glass Moon. It has been a while since we played out in Mechanicsville and and they were itchin' for some IN YOUR FACE rock n' roll, and we were ready to give it to them. This was our first time at the Glass Moon, but it felt like old friends. We can't wait to return and do it all over again.

Well, Hotshots last Friday was a good time. We did our Happy Hour show and had our newest BUD, Julie come up and sing for us the entire 3rd set.. The people loved her and so did we, SO, by Popular Demand, she'll be back again THIS weekend for 2 shows, and we've added some more songs for her to belt out..
SO.. This weekend, 2 shows........
This Friday, April 4th, we'll be in downtown Albany at The SkyLine. Show time is 10:30pm
Then Saturday, April 5th, we'll be in Troy for our FIRST gig at Positively 4th Street. I've heard some good things about this place. Lotta music has been played in that building, and now we can add Bad Karma to it..
So, come on out this weekend and see what's up either Fri, Sat or both night, will ya ??!!
Til then Peace MC Bad Karma

HotShots-Glens Falls THIS Friday, March 28th 7pm - 11pm for our Happy Hour Show.
Following us at 11pm will be Headbomb (with my ex-guitarist and good friend Jason Fernau and HIS merry crew of Rockers !) , so head up to Glens Falls for a great night of rock-n- roll.
There's QUITE a stir in the Bad Karma camp, so believe me when I say, this isn't just something to get you to come out or to say we've learned some new tunes. This is very cool and will yet again be another chapter added to the demented story we live in called : Bad Karma
Hope to see you all there. Remember, it's a 7pm start, Happy Hour Edition !!!
If we don't see you, stay tuned to this channel, as well catch the rest of you next week on what you missed !!

Let the games begin !!!!
We have us quite the busy weekend this Friday and Saturday..
Friday, February 22nd, we'll be in Amsterdam, at Tony's Tavern. A month ago, we had quite the show there, so stop out and join the crowd. For all you out that way, hope to see ya there !!
If that's a little far for ya, we'll be back the next night, Saturday, February 23rd, right here in the Capital District at The Arc in Watervliet. Great bar, doing their best to add some entertainment, so we're gonna do our best to help out. If you're able, stop in and help us rip the roof off this sucka !!!
We're off for a little while after this, so try your best to make one, if not, both shows.. We're gonna lock ourselves in the garage for a few weeks working on some new tunes by, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Greenday, Kings X, Poison, Joe Jackson, Badfinger and more.. Wanna have a lil something for everyone !!!
Hope to see your faces this weekend..
Peace
MC

Cold enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????? It's warm and sunny........ somewhere !!!!!!
Thanks to those in attendance at The Skyline last Friday night. Personally, a special "thanks" to Strummin' Bill Foley for helping me out setting up and breakin' down the drum kit. Of course I took care of him earlier at the bar, and what more can you say GOOD about a guy who delivers you a shot of "Jack" mid-song !! Thanks Billy, you rock man, and lookin' forward to seeing you again at a BK gig soon, bro !!
We took some photos at the Skyline Click the PHOTOS button on the left..
Yup, that's right, the "Shots...." tour kept itself alive last weekend in Albany, and NOW it's headin NORTH for a special start time.
THIS Friday, February 15th, Bad Karma will again be playing for the Happy Hour crowd (7pm start-time) at HotShots in Glens Falls. Now, if there's EVER a place to kick the " Shots drank around the world" tour up a bit, it WOULD be at a Happy Hour show at a place named "HOTSHOTS" !! ( Look at us, we're looking for justifiable reasons to do shots !!) Pathetic !!!
Hope to see ya this Friday in Glens Falls.
I'll update you all again next week, as we have a Friday/Saturday the following weekend. One in Amsterdam, and the next night in Watervliet. Stayed tunes for times/locations, or check out the Shows section of our website.
Til then, keep the Jager cold for us !!
Peace MC Bad Karma

REMINDER !!! THIS FRIDAY !!
It's been a LONG time coming !!

Posted: February 4, 2008
What IS up !!!!!
When we last left you all, we were heading out to Amsterdam for a gig at Tony's Tavern. First show there in almost 3 yrs and it seemed like people missed us, as there was a lot of dancin', screamin' and shakin', and that was just the band !!! You guys/gals rocked out there and we loved seeing all the gals dancing around and the guys raising their fists !! We'll be back to see you all in a few weeks..
Now......... Back to the future..
After a couple well deserved weeks off from the club scene, Bad Karma is back and re-charged for a rock n roll ride at a "first-time' venue for us.
This Friday, February 8th, The "Shots Done Around The World" tour hits downtown Albany at The SkyLine ( Sheridan Ave - Right around the corner from The Pure / The Bayou / Jillian's, etc ). If you've been to any of our shows lately, you know WHY we've dubbed the tour by its rightful name !!!!!
This place has recently become the rock n roll place to be, so who better than us to really bring it up to our level of insanity.. There's a lot of buzz going on at the Skyline, so do you're best to stop down and rock it hard with us. We'll hope to have the cameras out in full force to get some updated shots of you, the crazies, on our website.
We've got a busy February, so check out our calender to see were we'll be in upcoming weeks.. We wish you could all be at "every" show, but we know it's not possible, so make any/all that you can. We appreciate it !!!
That's all for now.
See ya's all soon !!

....WHAT A NIGHT....
We want to thank everyone who made it out to Tony's Tavern last night... what a crowd. YOU GUYS ROCK.. I have to say it was a pleasure to see all the new faces and your reaction is what makes a show. We hope to see you again next month on the 22nd.. we can't wait to return...
Our next show is Feb 8th at the Skyline Lounge in Albany. This is our first time at The Skyline and we can't wait to attack Albany. This will be a take no prisoner type a night... I definate plan to party my ass off and we will be traveling with our "SHOTS AROUND THE WORLD". If you are unfamular with this we do shots from all around the world.. We normally start in Germany with Jager, move to the USA and visit Tennessee and Kentucky... By the end of our journey you won't remember a thing.. so bring a designated driver... I will...
See you then...

OK, we're not going THAT far, but THIS Friday, January 18th, we will be back in Amsterdam at Tony's Tavern.
It's almost 3 years to the day that I played my first live show with Bad Karma and it was at Tony's. (Damn, have we come along way since then !!)
I know it's a hike for some people, but I also know some of our fans live out that way too, so hoping to see you out there. Come on out and do some shots !!! Hahahaaa. Doesn't take much to twist the arms of THIS band !!! Ok, we twist our OWN arms !!!
Hope to you there..
Keep Rockin'
